Because taking money has more moving parts. There are accounts to open and verify, test charges to run, sales tax to set, and payouts to point at the right bank. If any of it is wrong, you find out when a customer’s card fails or your money doesn’t show up. I’d rather take the extra day.
Some setups use software with its own monthly fee. I’ll tell you the exact cost before we start. You can pay the provider directly, or roll it into your Care plan and get one bill. Texting tools, booking tools, email and online stores usually have one. A domain is a small yearly fee.
US phone carriers make every business register before it can send texts from a local number. I set everything up in 48 hours and file the registration. Approval usually takes a few days and can take a couple of weeks. Google does something similar when it verifies a new business profile.
You pay the second half and it’s yours. You can run it yourself, and I’ll show you how. Or stay on a monthly plan and I keep it running.
